Every year Kaziranga is flooded with tourists but still the park gets closed according to timings. Kaziranga Booking is not allowed after the season, but this is the first year in the history of Kaziranga that this park is open till the end of May. The reason behind this extension is a spurt in tourist arrivals to the wildlife park from across India.

The officials of Kaziranga, tour guides, and safari operators say Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the park has significantly boosted its tourism. Everyone knows that unofficially the Prime Minister has become the brand ambassador of Indian tourism destinations. People follow our Prime Minister Narendra Modi wherever he goes. People who love to travel follow him everywhere, be it Kedarnath or Lakshadweep. Now, the latest addition to that list is Kaziranga National Park.

Kaziranga’s Earnings

After Narendra Modi visited the park, he spent his night on March 8 in a beautiful guest house at Kaziranga National Park. Then on the next day, he visited the park and admired the different flora and fauna of the area. He also praised the large population of the majestic one-horned rhinoceros.

After his visit, he wrote about the park on X “I would urge you all to visit Kaziranga National Park and experience the unparalleled beauty of its landscapes and the warmth of the people of Assam. It’s a place where every visit enriches the soul and connects you deeply with the heart of Assam”.

After this statement was shared on X, people responded to the PM’s call and the park saw a fabulous hike in the number of visitors this season. There is also a hike in the revenue of 2023-24. More than 3.2 lakh people visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site and the revenue it collected is Rs 8.80 crore.

Not only has the park’s revenue increased, but Narendra Modi’s statement has also impacted the overall tourism of the area.
