How to Reach Kaziranga National Park
Kaziranga National Park is a wild tourist destination located in two districts of Assam. Kaziranga National Park is situated in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts. This park is a famous tourist destination and people come here to experience gypsy and elephant safari in the wide jungle. By Flight
The nearest airport to Kaziranga is Johrat which is at a distance of 102 km. Regular domestic flights are connected from this airport to various cities. If you’re coming from outside India then you should come to Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport also known as Guwahati International Airport. This airport is at a distance of 244 km. After reaching any of these airports, you can come to the park by taking a taxi or other local transport like a bus.
By Train
If you’re someone who likes to travel by train then you should visit the park by booking your train to Furkating Junction. This railway station is closest to Kaziranga National Park at a distance of 85 km. This station is connected to various major cities like Guwahati, Kolkata, New Delhi, etc. Other options are Guwahati Railway Station and Jorhat Railway Station which are at a distance of 202 and 101 km. After reaching any of these stations you can easily find a taxi or other transport to reach your destination.
By Road
Kaziranga is located in Golaghat and Nagaon districts and the main gate of the park is in Kohora village. This village is well-connected to various parts of the city with a good road network. After coming to nearby cities like Guwahati, Tezpur, Jorhat, Nagaon, Golaghat, Dimapur, Tinisukia, Sivasagar, etc, you can take a bus or taxi or any local transport to reach the park.
