Bhalukjuri Waterfalls

Bhalukjuri Waterfalls are located in the Bagori Village of Assam near NH-37. Unlike other waterfalls, this one doesn’t have any entry fees or tickets. You can go there at any time of the year but you have to track a little bit to reach the peak of the waterfalls. Trekking toward the waterfalls adds to the excitement of reaching there and enjoying the scenic beauty. Don’t try to go there during monsoons, as the tracking route might be slippery. It can be the best spot to enjoy a picnic with friends and family. There is enough space for car parking and to make food. A small Shiva temple is also there so you can take blessings. Many elephants can be found roaming in this area. It is the best place to feel nature and enjoy the calmness. The best part which makes it a nice spot is that it’s not very crowded. You can listen to the sound of water hitting the rocks and it’s mesmerizing experience.

Kaipholangso Waterfalls / Kakochang Waterfall

Kakochang Waterfalls is a famous tourist place and locals know it as Kaipholangso waterfalls. You can relax in the natural surroundings and see some beautiful views here. It’s a good picnic spot near the world-famous Kaziranga National Park. The remains of the historical Numaligarh are near to this area and they can be seen from here. It’s a nice picnic spot that is located about 13 km from the Bokakhat. If you’re going towards Kakochang then grab some snacks and food with you as no food outlets are available there. Some famous tourist attractions near this waterfall include the ruins of Numaligarh, the ruins of Deoparbat or Deopahar, and landscapes of tea, coffee, and rubber farms.

You can go here with family and friends. This waterfall is a beautiful natural attraction of the area. It’s a scenic view to see the water flowing down a rocky cliff and into a deep pool below. It’s a popular tourist destination among locals and people who come from different areas. This Kangthilangso Waterfall remains quite busy on weekends. But on weekdays and mornings, it remains peaceful and you can enjoy the calmness and natural vibes here. There is a large area for picnics near the waterfalls so you can have a good time with family and friends after coming here. The ticket price to go to this waterfall is INR Rupees 50 for one person.
